THE FOUNDATION FOR YOUR WORK
A good canvas starts with the wood.
Our main business is making ready-stretched canvases. If you prefer to stretch your own, you can also buy the foundation separately: profiles from our stretcher frame range.
The Galerie profile is 4 cm deep and 5 cm wide. The frame is made from laminated pine wood. A matching crossbar supports this elongated format.

Assemble the frame
Join the four bars and insert the supplied crossbar. Check that the frame is square.
Stretch the canvas
Choose fabric with enough allowance for the sides and back. Stretch evenly and secure it to the rear.
Adjust the tension
Use the supplied wedges to carefully retension the stretched frame when needed.

You receive the wooden frame kit with the accessories listed. Choose your canvas fabric and tools separately. Explore canvas fabrics
Is this kit complete for 40 × 180 cm?
This size includes four stretcher bars, one crossbar, eight tensioning wedges and two sawtooth hangers.
Are other sizes or 2 cm profiles available?
We also offer 2 cm profiles and many other sizes with a depth of 4 cm. Contact us for individual bars, braces or custom sizes. Personal advice
Which sizes include a cross brace?
A cross brace is included from 50 × 50 cm, when both sides measure at least 50 cm. If only one side reaches 50 cm, the kit includes one crossbar. Sizes with both sides below 50 cm are supplied without a crossbar or cross brace.
