The exhibition takes the MAMCO's Cabinet de poésie concrète as its starting point and places Mirella Bentivoglio at its centre. Her works are gathered by theme, from self-portrait to play with language and negation. Words are dissected for their double meanings, poems become sculptures, and the letters E and O are isolated for their potential to connect or separate. A second part widens the view to the network of artists Bentivoglio supported, with symbolic scripts and gestural alphabets.
