The exhibition House of Nisaba at Kunsthaus Zürich explores how contemporary painting develops new allegorical visual languages and stories of its own. Almost 35 paintings are created specifically for the show, inspired by mythology, literature, film, social media and pop culture. The participating artists from Switzerland, Europe, the USA and the Global South respond to a world in which images circulate constantly. The exhibition is organised in cooperation with Moderna Museet, Stockholm.
